How It Works

Inquire
After reading through the details of The Foundation Website, you can either book a call to get your questions answers or proceed with purchasing the service.

Sign & Pay
Semi-custom website design requires a signed legal contract and up-front payment via credit card or ACH.
Refunds are not available.

Provide Assets
Before we can provide services to you, we’ll need you to complete two forms and send us your photos. You’ll receive the forms and photo submission instructions via email immediately upon purchase.

Review & Revise
Once we’ve added your branding, photos, and messaging to The Foundation Website, the website will look completely different. You will provide us with any requested changes to the text, images, colors, or fonts in a Google or Word Doc. We’ll make the changes and prepare to connect your domain to the website.

Launch
Your website will be ready to launch as soon as your domain connection is complete. Congratulations!
We’ll provide you with a custom video tutorial that will show you how to made changes to your website (write a blog post, upload a project, etc.) on your own, and we’ll also remain available to help at an hourly rate.

No, that isn’t necessary. If you get your new Squarespace subscription through us, you’ll receive 25% off the entire year. If you had an prior Squarespace subscription, we’ll also ask Squarespace for a prorated refund on your behalf.
Once we set up your Foundation website, we’ll give you access to it via the email address that you provide. If your email address is already associated with a Squarespace account, your Foundation website will automatically appear in that account.
If you don’t have a Squarespace account yet, you’ll be prompted to do so when we give you access to your new site.

You will not pay any ongoing fees to Socialite. Our flat fee for the Foundation website is one-time only. If you need our help in the future, you will be billed hourly and the amount will depend on the scope and nature of your request.
You will be responsible for paying Squarespace monthly or annually, and you will only pay for the features that you need. At minimum, you will need their Business Plan to use all the necessary features of the Foundation Website. Go here to view Squarespace’s current pricing.
Your domain fees will be paid annually through your domain host (which could be Squarespace, if that is where you purchased your domain).

We’ll provide you with step-by-step instructions for how to migrate your blog posts to your new Foundation website once your new website is complete.

You are responsible for moving your products from your old website to your Foundation website.
If your shop is powered by a third party, such as Shopify, this is often as easy as pasting a link to your shop into your Foundation website. We can show you what to do.

Not a problem. We’ll provide you with free, safe-to-use stock photo resources that you can use to curate on-brand images for your website. You will need to select only 12 images and provide your head shot.

We do not offer refunds for the Foundation Website under any circumstance. If you are unsure whether it will be a good fit, please do your due diligence by thoroughly reading all information provided on this page and also by booking a call with us prior to purchasing.

Yes, you will need to sign a contract that outlines the scope of work, payment terms, and other essential details.

Once you’ve signed the contract, paid, and provided us with all necessary info and assets, our turnaround time is approximately 10 business days.

This is rare. In most cases, you’ll be able to give us 100% of your requested changes in the first and only round of edits. If for some reason this isn’t the case, we’ll provide you with an estimate and separate scope of work to make rest of your requested changes.

Search engine optimization is an involved process that is not included in this scope of work. We offer SEO as part of our CUSTOM website design service or as a standalone service.
If you need a new website and want SEO included, doing a custom website with us will be more cost-effective than doing a semi-custom site plus SEO would be.
